Gluten-free prawn balls (IC/PBS friendly) - Certified Thermomix person

One of the many ways to eat prawns is to try prawn balls. These are easy to make and taste fantastic with rice or grilled vegetables, and can even be used to prepare a delicious Chinese soup.

There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... That's, that's about it.". You will need

  • 150g unshelled raw prawns

  • 2 tsp. salt

  • 0.5 tsp starch

  • 1 tsp gluten free oat bran

  • 1 tsp coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp chives

  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in the bowl. Mix 5sec/ Speed 10

  2. Shape small balls with a spoon

  3. Cook as desired. A quick option is to bake the balls in the oven or on a grill but you can also add a leek sauce

  4. Enjoy!
