Gluten-free Sour Cream - Certified Thermomix person

Huge cost savings with this recipe. Some products are so easy to prepare with the Thermomix that it is stupid to buy them. Only 2 ingredients are used for this one


This recipe is

  • Gluten-free

  • IC/PBS friendly

  • Not dairy-free

  • Not vegan

  • Carb low

You'll need

  • 250g lactose-free milk (don't use skimmed milk)

  • 250g butter

Instructions

  1. Place milk and butter in the bowl. Mix 5min/ 90°C/ Speed 2. The bowl has to be very clean and dry

  2. Mix 30sec/ Speed 8

  3. Pour the mixture in a clean bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for 1 hour then chill for 3h. The more you let it in the fridge, the thicker it gets

  4. If you want your cream to be thick, use the top coat. For a more liquid version, place in the thermomix bowl and mix 10sec/ Speed 4
