A bissara a day keeps the cold away. I published the original recipe using kidney beans. Here is another version using peas.
You'll need
250 gr dried peas
5 garlic cloves or 1TbS powder garlic
1l water
50 ml EVOO
1 TbS cumin
1⁄2 ts paprika
1 ts salt
1/2 lemon
Directions
Place peas, water and garlic in the bowl. Mix 35 min / Varoma / Speed 1 with cup removed.
Add EVOO, cumin, paprika, and salt. Cover with the measuring cup and mix 30sec/ Speed 10
Squeeze the lemon over the puree (lemon gives taste. But too much lemon thickens the puree)
Top with breadcrumbs
Enjoy while hot!
