A lazy (delicious yet) dinner for a lazy day

"If I eat at the Emporio Armani Caffe, my favorite thing to order is ... pasta with tomato sauce" Giorgio Armani, Fashion Designer

You will need

  • 250g penne (or any other pasta)

  • 500g tomatoes

  • 50g EVOO

  • 1/2 onion

  • 500ml water

  • 1 tsp Himaaya salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 Tbs parmiggiano

Instructions

  1. Place tomatoes in the bowl. Mix 5sec/ Speed 4. Set aside

  2. Place inion and EVOO in the bowl. Mix 3min/ 100°C/ Speed 5

  3. Add crushed tomatoes. Mix 15min/ 100°C/ Speed 1

  4. Add water. Mix 4min/ Varoma/ Speed 1

  5. Insert the butterfly whisk. Add penne. Mix 10min/ 100°C/ Speed 1

  6. Serve and top with parmiggiano and basil leaves.

  7. Enjoy!

You will need

  • 500g prawns

  • 100g EVOO

  • 1 bunch herbs

  • 2 red hot chili peppers

  • 3 Tbs garlic powder

  • 1 Tbs himalaya salt

  • 1 Tbs lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place herbs, garlic and chili peppers in the bowl. Mix 10sec/ Speed 7

  2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.Mix again if necessary

  3. Add remaining ingredients. Mix 5sec/ Speed 5

  4. Place prawns in a pan. Pour the mixture over the prawns

  5. Cook for 15-20min on medium heat

  6. Enjoy!

You will need

  • 500g fine semolina

  • 350g lamb meet

  • 200g turnips halved lengthwise

  • 200g carrots halved lengthwise

  • 200g zucchinis

  • 300g pumpkin

  • 150g peeled tomatoes

  • 100g soaked chickpeas

  • 50g tomato paste

  • 2 jalapeños (optional)

  • 1 diced onion

  • 1 bunch of herbs (parsley and cilantro)

  • 1l water

  • 250 cl EVOO

  • 1tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp ground curcuma

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp Ras El Hanout (Moroccan spice mix, found in some groceries)

  • 1 tsp salted butter

  • 1 litre d’eau

Instructions

  1. Place onion and tomatoes in the bowl. Mix 5sec/ Speed 5

  2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add meat, EVOO, tomato paste, herbs, butter and spices. Mix 5min/ 100°C/ Stirring mode

  3. Add 100g water. Mix 5sec/ Speed 5. If the broth is thick, add water

  4. Meanwhile place turnips, carrots, jalapeños and pumpkin (skin down) in the basket.

  5. Place zucchinis in the Varoma dish

  6. Add chickpeas in the bowl. Add 650g water

  7. Insert the basket

  8. Place the Varoma over the bowl. Mix 30min/ Varoma/ Stirring mode

  9. Meanwhile wash and drain semolina. Repeat 3 to 4 times. Add some EVOO and set aside

  10. Transfer zucchinis and pumpkin in the Varoma plate

  11. Place semolina in the Varoma. Add 250g inside the bowl.

  12. Place the basket and the Varoma over the bowl. Mix 15min/ Varoma/ Stirring mode

  13. Transfer semolina in a plate then add some broth

  14. Add meat, chickpeas and surround with vegetables.

  15. Pour the remaining broth in a bowl and serve immediately

  16. Enjoy!

PS: for a vegan version, meat can be removed from the recipe
