Mamma mia Italia è nel mio piatto.

I used strawberry sauce, but Panna Cotta works with any other fruit-based sauce

"It actually is. a little Italian dessert. It's like a mousse...kind of like ice cream". Mignon Waterman

You'll need - Panna Cotta

  • 400g double cream (for a lighter version, you can use 300g double cream and 100g milk - the more milk you add, the softer your Panna Cotta will be)

  • 30g caster sugar (use white sugar to have that snowy color)

  • 2 packets vanilla sugar

  • 2 leaf gelatin

You'll need - Strawberry sauce

  • 300g sliced strawberries

  • 60g sugar

Directions

  1. Soften gelatin leaves in a bowl of cold water for about 10'

  2. Pour the cream in the bowl. Add sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix 6'/ 80°C/ Speed 2

  3. Meanwhile, remove leaf gelatin from the bowl and squeeze out any removed water.

  4. Add to the mixture. Mix 1'30"/ Speed 2

  5. Pour in small cups and chill in the fridge for a minimum of 4h

  6. Place strawberries and sugar in the bowl. Mix 4"/ Speed 6

  7. Mix 4'/ 80°C/ Speed 2

  8. Leave to cool. Top the set Panna cottas with the strawberry sauce and chill again

  9. Enjoy!
